What does it take to be pocket-sized?
Agility? Quick thinking? Problem solving and improvising on the fly? Yes. But also conviction. Heartfelt, unwavering, in-your-blood-and-bones creativity. And if we’re being honest, a little insanity too. It means dedication—to your ideas, your craft, your clients’ needs—and most importantly, finding the right type of people to work with. People you’d actually want to have a beer with after work.
Party of one.
I’m Zach, an Addy-winning motion designer, videographer, and photographer in Jacksonville, Florida. (We’re the Bold New City of the South—have you heard?)
When I was working within a more traditional marketing career, I couldn’t get one simple idea out of my head: quality content shouldn’t just be for the heavy hitters with enormous budgets—and it certainly shouldn’t be wrapped in red tape. Time and time again I saw one creative idea after the next snuffed out, simply due to the exhaustive process of getting it to the right person at the right time. Sometimes a whole concept was shut down before it could even be pitched because it “didn’t fit the brief,” or “the client would never go for that.”
Introducing Analog Spirit
That simple idea is what propelled me to start my own animation and video production studio—where no idea is too small or too big, and everything except ambition is pocket sized.
I work both with powerhouse agencies and directly with clients, using my ten years of industry experience and Swiss-army-knife skillset to craft your story and make you and your ideas come to life. And I do it without the traditional overhead of a typical production studio—meaning more bang for your budget.
Let’s make something beautiful together, shall we?

Client Thoughts
“Zach is the rarest of creative resources. A true unicorn. Equally talented as an animator, cinematographer, editor, and musician.
Technique and technical skills can be learned—talent can’t.”
“As a start up company in a highly regulated and nuanced space, we needed to find a content creator that not only understood the importance of our messaging, but could do it at a reasonable budget. Many bigger marketing companies wanted to charge us huge retainers—with no guarantee of quality outcomes.
Zach provided the perfect solution: à la carte, reasonably priced digital ad creation services. He worked with us to understand our vision, guide us, and create final deliverables in a timely manner that far exceeded our expectations. Working with Analog Spirit has been one of the best decisions we have made as an organization.”
“Zach is one of the most talented content creators I’ve ever collaborated with, skilled in videography, photography, and design.
With an incredibly keen eye for aesthetics, quick wit, and shining humor through stressful moments, he is the epitome of grace under pressure. He can take an exceptionally challenging project from inception and concepting to execution—and deliver above and beyond expectations.
His quality is unmatched, his witty yet professional attitude is a welcomed reprieve, and his final product will never disappoint.”

Analog Pride.
Analog Spirit (that’s me, Zach) believes in the worth and dignity of every human being—regardless of age, race, gender or gender identity, sexual orientation, or what you like on your pizza or pancakes.
As such, I donate a portion of my profits to Equality Florida and JASMYN, two local Jacksonville organizations that support and empower the LGBTQ+ community by lobbying for inclusion, creating safe space, providing health and wholeness services and offering youth development opportunities, while bringing people and resources together to promote equality and human rights.
